If the custom skin was created with the in-game Character Creator, yes. Minecraft worlds are now expanded and there is no world border within the world. Player IDs from other platforms are not supported at this time. Please note that you are only able to enter a Microsoft gamertag as a player ID. It is available as an option chose inside the game. Cross-Play is currently only available for invites to another player's single-player world.
